Starting Point
Starting Point provides information about a wide range of services, support, and activities delivered by both official bodies (e.g Council, NHS, Pensions Service etc) and voluntary and community organisations (Age Concern and other charities, local pensioner and/or community groups etc).
The services combined enhance the quality of life, and help people maintain their independance, remain in their own homes and enjoy life.
Whilst some of these services can be of benefit to people with serious conditions or needs (alongside care management delivered by Adult Services of NHS bodies), these services do not include personal care or intensive packages of support.
